GUAMUZIK Launched!

It was another meaningful milestone for the GUA brand when our music download portal, GUAMUZIK.COM.MY was launched earlier today at the Sime Darby Convention Centre.

The turnout was pretty good with close to 250 people, including music execs, artists, business partners and Media Prima peeps in attendance. And I think we served up a pretty decent show with a 30-minute presentation by me, interspersed with 4 great performances by Hujan, Pacai, Faizal Tahir and One In A Million champ, Ayu.

Honestly though, the presentation was a bit a struggle for me, having yet to recover from this pesky flu. I even lost my voice on Friday which basically freaked everyone out!

But feedback after the show was good, and I'm hoping for great press coverage to really send the message across to all music fans out there. It was also great catching up with composers and music execs I've not seen for quite a while.

And I must thank my team again (and Sunil's) for putting together a great show!

Jom Heboh Melaka - Day 2

Day 2 of KJH Melaka was simply awesome! How can it not be when "Melodi" decided to have its live crossover episode right in front of the GUA booth?! And that's not all, 20 big bikers led by "Jelma" star Norman Hakim were to be featured prominently as well. And, um, I also got my 90seconds of fame on the number 1 entertainment show on TV!

Jom Heboh Melaka - Day 1

This year's Karnival Jom Heboh series kicked off in Melaka on 5th April, and what a kick off it was. As expected, thousands thronged to the MITC in Ayer Keroh to join in on the festivities. Of course GUA.COM.MY had to be there, and for the first time ever, we even had our own booth!

On the first day we had OAIM winner and runner-up, Ayu and Shila, glamming up the booth. Both smiled and signed autographs tirelessly and even delivered one song each. In between, it rained cats and dogs though. Hawau betul! Anyway, the crowd thinned a little during that rainy period but came back strongly after the sun started shinning again.

See You in Melaka!

Dudes! GUA.COM.MY will be at this year's first JomHeboh in Melaka this weekend. So if you're in the neighbourhood (or you just wanna burn fuel so you can buy more Ferrari model cars), drop by at the venue, ie: MITC in Ayer Keroh.

We'll have some star power as well with both 'One In A Million' finalists Shila and Ayu making an appearance (and singing a couple of songs) at the GUA.COM.MY booth.

On Sunday, 'Jelma' star Norman Hakim will be arriving at the venue with his group of big biker friends and will also appear on 'Melodi'.

Loads of fun guaranteed, so see you guys there!
