'JELMA 2' Launched!
So yesterday we had the launch of GUA’s latest online series, JELMA 2, at Bar Savanth Too in Mont Kiara. We wanted a creepy environment and I think we sure did pull it off.
Most of the leading cast members and the crew were in attendance, and everyone basically got spooked good when we showed the first 2 episodes.
And I’m making the guarantee here again; JELMA 2 will be the scariest and bloodiest thing you’ll ever see online!

Here’s the synopsis:
The much talked about horror series depicts an evil representation of the devil which manifests in the form of a young boy. This manifestation which appears from the very first day of its foetal existence thrives to ensure that nothing shall prevent it from achieving the pinnacle of its power. In order to prevail, the demon casts his wrath upon those who are against him, leading to death if necessary.
In the second season, Rosli sends Mak Tom back to her hometown after defeating Wak Jang. However, he does not realize that his own son, Reza holds a grudge against him. Reza calls upon Wak Jang’s spirit and also conjures his late-parents’ manifestations to seek revenge on Rosli who was accused of breaking his allegiance with the devil.
So don’t forget to catch JELMA 2 starting 6th July only on http://www.gua.com.my/!

Jelma 2 - Wanna Get Spooked Again?
In case you didn't know, the most successful online series on GUA has been the horror show 'Jelma'. It made its debut in early 2008 and its first run garnered close to 1.2 million views! An achievement yet to be surpassed by any other drama on GUA.
Why was it that sucessful? Well for one, Malaysians are suckers for ghosts and goblins. And on any platform it seems. Also, the story was good and well-researched. And yes, the actors, Norman Hakim, Fauziah Nawi, Naim Daniel etc, did a very good job.
So it was no surprise that since the show ended last year, people have been asking about a sequel. The story itself also had an "open" ending, so of course people were curious to know if there would be a continuation.
And guess what? 'JELMA 2' will be coming to GUA pretty soon! July 6th to be exact.
It will star the names I mentioned above again with a few new faces. And I can guarantee you it will be even scarier this time around. Check out some of the behind-the-scenes photos.

Are you scared already? Of course lah, don't bluff... Anyway, do look out for it in July, and here's a little teaser:

JELMA on MHI

So yesterday, JELMA director Murali and cast members kak Maimon and adik Naim Daniel along with myself were on Malaysia Hari Ini to do some promo. It was a lively session hosted by Fedtri, but the real star was Naim who mesmerised with his confidence and fluency. He even did my job for me, asking the viewers to log on to http://www.gua.com.my/ to watch the show which made its debut yesterday. At the waiting lounge, we even bumped into Indonesian crooner Marcell who even shared his own ghost story with us!
Marcell is on the far left. Gals, pls stop screaming!.jpg)

JELMA Launched!
GUA.COM.MY’s third exclusive online drama JELMA was launched this afternoon at Bora Asmara in Sungai Penchala. JELMA is a horror story (oh yes!) that tells the tale of Rosli, a restaurant owner who resorts to basically selling his soul to the devil to get ahead in his business. As a result, his son turns out to be a creepy boy with some really creepy “powers”. Scary stuff, I can assure you.
Produced by Zeel Production and directed by award-winning director Muhammad Murali, JELMA stars Norman Hakaim, Aida Aris, Fauziah Nawi, Maimun Taib, Haliza Misbun and child actor Naem Daniel.
The PC today saw a good, strong turnout by the press and also the cast and crew of JELMA. And if you’ve never been to Bora Asmara before, you should! It’s a nice makan place with a lovely Balinese setup with rather-romantic private dining areas.
Anyway, JELMA debuts on GUA.COM.MY on March 21st with new episodes coming on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So do check it out!
