The Popeye's name is actually coincidental to the cartoon. Popeye's was actually based on the founder's nickname who happened to be from Louisiana.
thanks for the info! but why so seriouslah... rest assured i know it's a coincidence. i just like to see humour in stuff. puns and exaggerations are what i'm about :)
